Tales from a Pattern Addict

I LOVE the green brocade duster Lindsey Lohan’s character wears in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. She doesn’t wear it very long so I’ve never been able to find a good screencap of it. :( I’ve bought the material for that coat, but I’d like to test the jacket pattern before I spend time altering it (for length) and doing french seams on more expensive fabric. On this jacket I intend to make some fun print bias (I don’t think the jacket calls for lining…) and bind the seams.
